I've been trying to learn how to take body parts from cars and make them tuning parts, i've figured out the non moving parts, but can't for the life of me, make the moving parts work.
For example: i have a buggati that's full carbon, and i want to make the parts that are carbon (bodyshell, both doors, bonnet, spoiler) fully painted, i've managed to do the bodyshell, but here come the problems.
BOOT: for some reason, when i apply the boot in the tuning shop, half of the car dissapears, including the player model. (it appearing back only when also choosing the 'Chassis' tuning option, that being another problem, as the doors are misspossitioned) see photo 1 & 2.
Spoiler: it works okayish, altough it doesnt move anymore, original it was an animated spoiler that moved with speed/brakes, but as a tuning option it just stays put, figured thats a game engine thing.
Doors: 2 problems, if i have them as linked mods to the chassis and in the LinkMods part i set each door its own bone, they are positioned wrong but can be interacted with (see photo 2). IF i put each door in LinkMods as 'CHASSIS' they have the correct position, but can't be interacted with (stuck to the chassis.)
I've tried copying the carcols from a car which has the exact same tuning parts as the bugatti i'm trying to do this to, doesnt seem to work, i'll leave the carcols.meta from my bugatti here if possible, maybe you can see what i'm doing wrong, although i did the exact same thing from another carcols from another mod, that seems to work perfectly.

Re: Custom Body Parts
I afraid this is not directly related to ZModeler, generally this is a model/parts configuration in metadata file. I can't be of much help on this subject, but other users might give a hand.
Re: Custom Body Parts
Figured as much, positions are correct within zmodeler, the only method i found for the doors is to manually move them in the correct position..
