black dashboard

So lately, any truck that i edit in zmod (interior wise) has a black dashboard. I tried adding the dashboard.dds texture in the files, but it didn't work. Any fix that was online, doesn't work. I've tried around 7-8 mods from the workshop / the internet for the dashboard. Nothing works. I don't know what to do anymore. I'm thinking of abandoning modding honestly. If anyone knows any possible fix, it would be appreciated to answer the topic!

If I'm not mistaken, dashboard is either script-drawn (like navigator part) or is a set of animated geometry that pops up from background to foreground to simulate lighting up icons on the dash or simulate moving indicators like fuel, pressure etc. There is no a simple answer on why the dashboard is black, as it might have different reasons and causes to appear this way.

Also, the console has no errors related to the dashboard.

there is no advice I can give you with that few information given. It's up to you to research the issue and find the cause. There are plenty of reasons for dashboard not to do what it is supposed to do and quite many of topics are on this matter are not related to the model itself and its export from ZModeler (e.g. anything you do in .sii files to configure dashboard and animations).

i can offer more info. Last time i tried, was today. Still no errors, on the volvo fh3 by jhonny144. I tested it on a clean profile and its still not working. Tried some new dashboard fix mods too. I'll try to do more research but i tried almost everything and its stil not working, also i am on 1.49.2.23
