I am making my best attempt to debadge this porsche symbol, but have ended up with a hold in the bonnet, does anyone know how I can fill it to match the rest of the hood?

select vertices and use Modify'Submesh\Weld.
depending on UV mapping layout on left/right halves, you might need to weld vertices on left side and right side separately, then move final pair of vertices one to another with Snapping + Vertices snapping toggled on.
