Ycd animation working in openiv and zm3 not working in game

Hello Oleg,I have create animations for my vehicle,total 3 items ,very short animation just 0-48 and I have make [tags] track item for end this animation,but seems like this animation working in zmodeler3 and open IV only,and I have written down the animation name in vehicle meta,in game this animation is end moment forever,I can’t shutdown ,I don’t know what’s wrong with the process :cry:

I am not quite sure I understand you well. Do you mean the animation in game is not played at all (nothing moves) or animation is played but stucks at some time frame (end frame)? If I'm not mistaken, roof open/close animations are played one direction (start to end) and stop. Then end-to-start in reverse.

As a possible test, I advise to put your vehicle into the game with replacement of original convertible model. So, replace the .yft file(s) and .ycd file. Then spawn this "original" game's model and try to open the roof to see whether the game tries to play the animation or not.

I have tested original game's vehicle and replaced the .ycd file during tests. I do not know any specific pre-conditions for DLC model to use the animation in game. It's out of scope of ZModeler actually.

Hello Oleg, I have the animation stuck at the end frame. Zmod & OpenIV will show the animation work perfectly but when ingame it does not go from end to start in reverse. It stays stuck. Please let me know if you can assist. Thank you !

Unfortunately, I have no idea how the game controls animation playback scenario - whether it will be played backward or not. This is not something inside the animation file itself, this is how the game's animation code plays the animation file.

Heyy, try to pull the animation bar to the First Frame and export it then. If you export it when the Bar is on the End of the Animation its stuck there

this should have no impact on the exported file as the animation position/slider is solely for ZModeler's viewports objects setup and is not "visible" to the exporter.

However, if you export the model file with animation track/slider played to some frame, the exporter will likely see the model setup in this frame and export model.yft file with such a setup as "default pose".
