4070 super + ryzen 9 7900X3D

Post by samirnd »

Hello, I've recently built a brand new pc, (from a ryzen 5 4500u and a 2060 to a 4070 super and a ryzen 9 7900X3D) and the viewport when i import cars into zmodeler is very very very laggy. this is whenever i turn L0 on and because of the specs im not aware of why this is happening, maybe it could be because of the single core thread on this cpu but if you have any idea on how I can sort this out and what i can do to optimise my zmodeler to make it work better with the specs, it would be much appreciated!

I have my rendering device set to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER and all the options turned on, no matter if i turn these options off the lag and delay is still there.

this sounds pretty much strange to me. may be you can mess with your video vendor's utility tool to configure per-application settings? e.g. disable all the possible optimization/improvement techniques as ZModeler does not use any of them. Also, ZModeler 3.3.x runs on DX11 and older versions run on DX9 if this makes any difference for per-application profile configuration.

I've fixed it, i swapped to the integrated graphics in rendering device and that seemed to fix it, very strange though

I have a suggestion for you to use the integrated GPU, however, you can try adjusting the settings in NVIDIA Control Panel, turning off unnecessary features.
