Can't paint my car in LSC

Post by tookie99 »

Hello guys,
Im a newbie of zModeler. My point is:
I can't change color painting of several add-on cars in LSC custom.

Example: in the image, selecting "Eletric blue", nothing happens

Is there any flag or anything I should know in zModeler to fix this problem?

Thank you a lot

*Sorry, I just noticed I'm in the wrong section
Can anyone move it to right section or delete this so I can repost? Please and sorry :(

A material you assign onto the addon part in ZModeler should use vehicle_paint shader (anyone that matches your needs - e.g. vehicle_paint2). The material name should contain [PAINT:1] in name to be painted to primary color or [PAINT:2] for secondary color.

If I'm not mistaken, glass tint applied to vertices that match some criteria on per-vertex alpha. It either should be lower than some value or higher, I don't remember the exact settings. It is used by game shader to tint vehicle glass only and do not affect the headlight glass as they could use the same material. You can read per-vertex alpha with Surface\Paint\Color tool. Set "Primary + Alpha" in options window of "Paint" group and use "Pick from vertex" in "Color" tool's window.

to use "pick from vertex" you should press "Paint\Color" button, so the tool is selected.
