Re: ETS2 Prefabs editing guide from ETS2 Forum
It might look outdated, but there were no significant changes other than node options or, may be, traffic light settings. The rest is the same as in this guide.
SCS has changed some internal data in prefab files, but this is handled by import/export transparently with no need to change something in the way you edit prefabs in ZModeler.

But I can't find anywhere the option where you can select the SCS compatibility in the new Z-Mod.

It has migrated to Compatibility -> Settings branch. Leave Compatibility on "Default" and change "Settings" there to "ETS2/ATS".
Re: ETS2 Prefabs editing guide from ETS2 Forum
Only I can't find these settings.
How can I select the individual nodes.

These are in properties of spline's control points.
You can select control points of spline when you switch it to Manipulators level. '5' is a default hotkey.Re: ETS2 Prefabs editing guide from ETS2 Forum
Hello Oleg, would it be possible for Z-Mod to access the semaphores / traffic rules profile as it is in the Blender tools. So that you always have all the rules.

Re: ETS2 Prefabs editing guide from ETS2 Forum
may you show a set of screenshots (from blender) so I can see what the semaphores rules are? Also, are these an external files (like .sii) or a part of .ppd file?
Re: ETS2 Prefabs editing guide from ETS2 Forum
It is this file traffic_rules.sii or if you have your own. traffic_rules.example.sii
Look in the download.

Re: ETS2 Prefabs editing guide from ETS2 Forum
no, this requires parsing .sii files and recreating some sort of game's logic on these files on how to handle them; I do not want this task to be included in ZModeler. May be you can just create a short text file with all available semaphore profiles that you can assign on prefab nodes?
Re: ETS2 Prefabs editing guide from ETS2 Forum
This is not just about the traffic light profiles but also the traffic rules that are in the Traffic Rule sii as well as vehicle types such as: city buses "city_bus", forklifts "forklift", timber transport "truck_log, etc.

Re: ETS2 Prefabs editing guide from ETS2 Forum
Do you edit or assign this on prefab nodes? and if you do, where is it assigned?
Re: ETS2 Prefabs editing guide from ETS2 Forum
The game takes information about the traffic light profile directly from the file “semaphore_profile.sii”, and on the prefab in the trigger name (dummy-object) only the profile identifier is indicated, for example “Cr_1x1”. And the game engine, taking into account the country, substitutes a traffic light model. It’s not entirely clear why these profiles should be implemented in ZModeler! In addition, it is possible to create your own profile and specify the unique operation of the traffic light.
Traffic rules are also taken directly from the .sii file.
