Unable to flag "Remove platform"

Post by Alvarez »

Unable to flag the "Remove this platform" to fix the validation issue.
Also, unable to add new platform, as "This Platform ID is already on your account".
Also, unable to validate a new license, as the old one is stuck inside the Zmodeler. Files inside "shared" i did delete, restarted the Zmodeler and the PC.

Now a "Zmodeler3 stopped working" appears after i start it, then it shuts down. Even after PC restart.
Where do i find the Platform ID, if i can't even start the Zmodeler to look it up in Help/about?
edit: managed to look up quickly the Platform ID, added it on User Account, message "platform was added sucessfully" has been shown.
"My Platforms" window shows no platforms.
Tried to assign license in "my licenses" tab, also, no platforms shown in drop-down.
Zmodeler keeps "stopped working" after platform "addition"
Logged out and back in, added new platform.
Zmodeler don't crash anymore, tried to validate a valid license.
Failed.
Logged out, logged in, restarted the game, tried to validate.
Failed.

"Zmodeler stops working" is no way related to things you do in web account. You should re-download ZModeler and unpack its files into another folder. Mind, you should not put ZModeler folder onto your desktop or "my documents". It is advised to put ZModeler folder on drive D: if possible. or at least in C:\program files folder.

It is essential to run ZModeler as Administrator.

Your platform ID on web account is "R8ZR5-**" and has license key assigned to it. Make sure this is the ID you could see in ZModeler on License Information page.

Assign password 123456 onto your platform ID in web account.
Specify your account name and platform password 123456 in ZModeler on Account Setup page; restart ZModeler as Administrator.

It might be preferable to add ZModeler folder to exclude list of your antivirus.

Did as noted, relocated Zmodeler to D, changed passwort to 6 units, looked up antivirus, it doesn't block it.
Ran the file as admin.
Now it says it is expired of all things.
Checked the "shared" folder. Removed the codelibs.
Did it again.
Yea. Freshly expired.

Your current license key is OK. You either have old license key in ZModeler then:
-----------
copy your license key in web account, run ZModeler, press and hold Shift key. It will read your new license key and install it.
-----------
... or your ZModeler version is not the latest one:

download the latest build 3.2.1.1195

You mean, validation key?
Wait a second...
59 days left, revalidate in 11 days, cannot perform import, as my license doesn't allow that action.
Restarting helped, thank you, Oleg!
