Will Zanoza 3 have the capability of opening a z3d file with the textures load there? Otherwise that means texturing the model created in zanoza 1.

Also, will the object menu box be made much wider? When I use the program, the objects I create, I type in detail the object name and that ends up being too long, you cannot expand the box to see the names. I find it tiring by having to select the object to see what it is or to click rename for clarity.

Use 3ds max for that or maya imo. It makes messy cuts though, zmodeler makes cleaner mesh by inserting. Takes longer but better results.

It isn't a program I need right now, but for future reference I just wanted to know. Having that is a good option.

Zanoza works fine with the latest OS's out now, I'm not a longterm modeler.

:( . My head is spinning round and I was not actually working on ZModeler3 program itself for two weeks. Instead, I'm making a client WWW portal with licenses management. Once this will be done, I'll revert to ZModeler itself to refine it's protection and licensing system. Once this is ready, ZMod3 will be available for beta testing.

Looks like I need two weeks for this (more or less probably).

Here is a suggestion

In left/Right/Top veiw ect, Could we have an option to see the solid model rarther than a wireframe?

It would be cool to have this, Also maybe a merge of both? solid with wireframe..

Exellent, What are means to installing zmodeler3?

Will it just be a rar with all files inside with a exe? or would it be like Zmod1 with an installation??

EDIT: Also, will we have some means of measurment, like cm, mm ect

ANOTHER EDIT: Font to 3d/model would be nice too :P

1. no ideas yet. probably a .msi file
2. I doubt. most games use their own scale and models in files can be in any units.
3. nope. not planned.

I think unit measurement should be considered, I bet their is alot (including me) who make models as a hobby, not for games.

How hard could it be to add a ruler at the left and bottom? :P

It is sometimes essential for accuracy.

measurement is not a big problem, but units are. I think keeping generic units is ok (you see the coordinates in bottom-right corner), the same "units" can used for measurement I guess.

Could you possibly add some type of measurement like "inches, cm, feet" or so on?

The logo in ZModeler is temporary. I'll create another when I have time. Then, the forum logo and ZModeler icon will be updated respectively.

Oleg, i cannot post in the Zmodeler 3 sections. No idea why, my Forum name is registered to my Zm3 account.

Anyway, now that animation is being developed, Could The Sims be looked into?, This could almost be as big as gta modding.
