Hello,
I installed the all the redists in
http://forum.zmodeler3.com/viewtopic.php?t=9260 but the problem presisted...

most likely some redistributive packages are not installed. This has always fixed the side by side issue.
Note, DX redistributive just unpacks files into a folder, you still need to run "dxsetup.exe" from that folder.
The Microsoft VS 2005 MFC SP1 update is a must, but if I'm not mistaken, it installs automatically after downloading and running the ".msi" installation package. rebooting computer could be a god hit too.
