ZM2 doesn't work in Win10

Post by NONOJI2002 »

I get side by side error and ZM2 does not work in Win10.

I put Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package in, but the error remains the same and it won't start...
Is there anything else I should install ?

P.S.
I'm not fluent in English...

You need this package to be installed:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downloa ... x?id=26347

make sure to install 32-bit version (x86 version), since ZModeler2 is 32-bit application.

Hi, Oleg.
That package is installed, but it doesn't work...
Is there something wrong with that?

you can use this topic:
https://forum.zmodeler3.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=5376
it has links to packages that should be installed. In short, "Visual C++ 2005 SP1 redistributive, 32 bit (x86)" should be installed. I don't remember any exact version or any other requirement, since all these packages are installed on my computer with "Visual Studio" development environment. That is why I'm not quite sure which package ZModeler2 actually need to run, as they all are preinstalled on my computer and ZModeler runs fine on win10.

The package on that topic is installed on my computer...

Is it still another matter of getting a side by side error ?

No, this is the only requirement.
