Wig wag problem
Wig wag problem
Hello, I’ve tried everything possible and I cannot figure out this problem with wig wags
I’ve changed all the light IDs in zmodeler to match right and left, I don’t have any carcols applied to the model, and the els xml file all aux coronas are 0 = disabled.
But for some reason I still get these red “strobe” lights that alternate with each other. In fact, a lot of the vehicles I use are plagued by these. I can’t figure out what’s controlling them. Does anyone have any experience with these? Thanks in advance!

Re: Wig wag problem
which of above are the "strobe" you are talking about?
Re: Wig wag problem
these are Corona FX and they are configured outside of the model file. somewhere in metadata file.
Re: Wig wag problem
no, but I guess there are some guides on this if your vehicle's metadata is editable.
Re: Wig wag problem
Try to use that flag FLAG_RECESSED_TAILLIGHT_CORONAS in vehicles.meta because as far as i know you can't actually delete them in sirens/ lights config in carcols.meta. So at least one would appear per light/ siren and with that flag they shouldn't be visible
Re: Wig wag problem
Thank you I’ll try that!
Re: Wig wag problem
Unfortunately adding the flag did nothing
Re: Wig wag problem
So maybe try to move your taillights and brakelights axis a little bit more to the center of car. Coronas probably are making based on axis position
Re: Wig wag problem
coronas are actually placed relative to axes position. It might be possible even to move axes of rear tail-lights even to 0,0,0 point, but I think the game will still draw coronas through the body of the vehicle.
Re: Wig wag problem
How do you move just the axis of an objects?
Re: Wig wag problem
if this is a geometry object, toggle "Move axes only" option in "Move" tool's options window.
