EUP ped part not working

Hi there, I just tried to make a EUP part.

A few issues:

1. When walking the badge/pen/nametag which is all one EUP slot is sort of going the other way when walking, its like its not following the ped

(I binded the .skel and the .mesh in zmod when converting my ped to eup)

2. It is inside the ped in game, while being fit properly in zmodeler3.

weight rigging is not accurate. you should load the outfit that the badges appear with in game, then use rigging copy tool to copy rigging from outfit onto badges, so the rigging on vertices matches perfectly. copying weight from a different "uppr" component can produce inaccurate rigging.

also, on you upper video the badges model looks like it is not rigged at all and is attached to bone #0 (pelvis).

So should i use the shirt im using the badge for to rig the badge? I weighted it to default cop per badge betore.

it's better to rig from shirt.

So i rig first clicking shirt, then the badge? Im using a EUP part so the shirt isnt being exported but im assuming that shouldnt matter as long as i rig from shirt to badge?


And will fixing weight rigging make it so its not inside the ped?

yes. just make sure you load original skeleton and rename branch to .global before you load skirt, so it has correct bone IDs geometry. then copy weight from skirt to badge.

Will default cop ped skeleton work since the part im rigging and stuff was made in blender and is just a obj with no properties.

I think it will. mind to enable rigging and 4 bones on a loaded .obj geometry first. also, it will need a primary and secondary color, plus UV#2 for proper shading in GTA.
