Interior does not change colors after export

Post by Pijany Walcarz »

Looks like the interior materials assignement responsible for changing interior colors are lost during exporting.
Even opening then exporting the model without editing anything results in the same problem interios is having it's base color in game.

Is there any way to retain the materials settings correctly?

After further investigation it turns out that I'm unable to change material name in materials editor, they are untouched after saving the file then importing it.

Even deleting one character in material name then saving the file and importing it and the material name is the same when file was imported before editing.

Material name is not stored in .yft files. Material name in ZModeler usually has primary texture name only. It can include painting instruction for expoter like PAINT:4 in a name. If you have these instructions, exporter will use paint color #4 for this material, so you can change color #4 in game for respective material. Mind, the interior and rims color requires you to use the latest version of ZModeler. Earlier versions support primary and secondary body colors only.
