Account does not require verification by e-mail. All accounts are fully active upon creation. You specify e-mail to be able to recover access to your account if password is lost. Also, this helps me to find an account when I get an e-mail from a user.

License verification is performed by ZModeler, this is not something you can do in web account. You can get a verification key in web account (so you can see a verification key's date in web account), but the verification (of this key) is still have to be performed by ZModeler.

The very first and the most important thing to do is to configure ZModeler for license verification. If this can be solved, everything will work fine.

First of all, ZModeler should be in its own folder, perfectly located not on a system drive (e.g. D:\Modding\ZModeler). Second, ZModeler folder should be added into exclude list of your antivirus (if you have one). Ensure there is "codelib.zmx" file in "Shared" folder of ZModeler. If file is missing, restore it from original .ZIP package.

Make sure you always run ZModeler as Administrator.
Following the steps below and everything will work fine:

============================================
1. assign password 123456 onto your platform ID in web account on "My
computers" page. I assume your platform ID in web account is EXACTLY the
same as you see in ZModeler - a misspell will make it impossible to
install license key.
2. Run ZModeler as Administrator, open "Account Setup" page of "About"
window. Specify your account name there and platform password 123456.
Press OK and restart ZModeler as Administrator.
3. Copy your license key in web account on "My licenses" page.
4. Open "License Information" page in ZModeler's "About" window. Press
and hold Shift key for 2-3 seconds. You should see your license key
appearing there.

If online access was configured in steps 1-2, license key should get
validated automatically. If it doesn't, you can apply manual
validation as follows:
1. Clear your account name and password in ZModeler's "Account Setup"
window to disable online validation. Press OK and restart ZModeler.
2. Copy&Shift your license key from steps 3-4 earlier (to get your key
in ZModeler and "Verification: Failed" under it.
3. in web account on License page specify whether you use 32-bit or
64-bit version of ZModeler and press "Validate" button. Copy validation
key.
4. go back to ZModeler's license window (where your license key is
shown currently), press and hold Shift key for 2-3 seconds. You should
see your license key being validated. "Verification: Failed" should
change to "Verification: revalidate in 6 days" or something like that.
