How to create collisions in zmodeler?

Post by LeynerN31 »

For years I have had this doubt, how to create this type of collision.
What I always do is have a z3d file with a collision saved, but I've never known how to create it from scratch in zmodeler.

These are usually different types of "dummy helper" primitives. You can create one using a violet/purple icon on primitives panel with "dummy helper" hint on it. It will create a small solid box in scene. You can expand its properties in properties window to toggle off "Solid" option there (so only wire edges are drawn) and adjust "Size X, Y and Z" properties there to refine size of collision. Also, you can change "Type" of collision too. If I'm not mistaken, you can use Box, Sphere and Capsule types of collisions for ETS2/ATS.
