Interior light ets2

Post by Daniel1985DK »

Hello Oleg.

Ihave a problem when i try to modify interior light. I've use the dif lum shader for it, in game when i turn lights on, everything is good, but when i turn lights off, i can still see the light texture, i'll leave some pictures here

1: settings in zmodeler, with the mat file i've used

https://ibb.co/RbGbd3W

without mat file

https://ibb.co/G0HWpY0

in game lights on

https://ibb.co/sWr3Nv9

in game lights off

https://ibb.co/yFFLqt5

As you can see, the light texture is still there when lights is turned off, but dimmed. Isn't there a way to hide the red light texture when the lights is turned off?

The game version 1.4 has a remastered shaders code, in particular dif.lum.

There is an additional shader parameter that is not supported by ZModeler: you can assign user-defined property "Scale" and specify two values there. I don't know the meaning of these, you should probably find some similar material in original game content and take values from that material.

Try
Scale: 10, 20
and see whether something changes or not.

re-import your model and make sure your "Scale" settings are retained. If they are not, you have not made it right, so no changes were expected to appear in the game.

check the generated .mat file for problematic material. I suppose something is not OK in this material. you can compare the one generated by your copy of ZModeler with the one generated by your firend's ZModeler. If you post both .mat files here, I'll tell you what is wrong.
