may you post a set of screenshots in-game? I don't know how to mod a map to see the modded tree in-game.
also, what happens with the tree model if you import/export original tree with no changes?

Hello, I made a short video.
I believe that the problem is the painting of the vertices.
Original trees can be edited because they contain painted vertices, but new trees added do not contain painted vertices.

I suppose UV#3 is not a texture mapping, it is likely to be used for animation. Per-vertices color is likely to be used for animation too: take a look, the red and blue color raises from bottom to top, assuming it gives shader a hint where tree gets taller (allows stronger wind effect). It worth to inspect per-vertex color from bottom top top and from branch to leaves tips. This is barely a thing I could help with, just give you hints on what worth to try.

I managed to paint the vertices, the movement worked.
