Flood weighting vertices?

Post by huckleberrypie »

Wonder if you could implement a feature wherein you can flood a group of selected vertices with a specific weight rather than try to paint every nook and cranny of the object being rigged. Maybe I've missed it here, but is there such a feature like with most other 3D modelling packages?

May you send me a link to a video (and time code) where the desired behavior is shown (in 3dsmax, maya and/or other packages)?

An update generally addressing the feature you've suggested is available.

Thanks, but how do I use the Pick Vertex tool? Whenever I pick vertices, nothing shows up in the bone/value table.
