May 5th - Planned service disruption.

Post by Oleg »

ZModeler3 services are being moved to a new hosting provider. The website, forum and account have been already moved and tested on new servers, but the domain zmodeler3.com is still pointing to old servers. The planned update of domain name is scheduled on May 5th, 23:00 UTC. I expect name servers to propagate and resolve to new domain in 8-12 hours, but it could take up to 24-48 hours actually.

It have to be explicitly stated, that web account will be inaccessible during this time. It is strongly advised to prepare your installed licenses for offline - ZModeler can work in offline mode with preinstalled licenses for several days (up to 3 days on trial license and up to 6 days on 30-days paid licenses). By reinstalling your current license key in ZModeler, you grant it an offline validity for this period.

Those with licenses expiring at the given time period will be unable to purchase new license, activate, install and/or validate licenses during these hours. If possible, apply new licenses in advance to avoid interruption of functionality of ZModeler.

If upon reload (CTRL+F5) of main page you do not see this post on top, then you are on the new server and web account is ready to serve you fully as usual.
