Issue creating a Surface.

Post by Jorge13570 »

What happens is that when I'm in any view and want to create something with the surface tool when making the selection of 2 rows and 2 columns for example. The part is inserted but on the opposite side of the view in which I do it and comes out of a black color which cannot be changed material. ¿Do you know what it's because of or is it a mistake?. (This Is in Zanosa Modeler 3)

The object is created with "Default" material assigned. Appearance of material on surface depends on surface normals. For example, if you flip polygons, they might appear dark/black. In your case I advise to apply Surface\Normals\Calculate tool first. Then make sure Default material (the first one in materials browser) is not black.
