Importing multiple yft files

Post by nixxx621 »

Hello - how do I go about importing mutiple yft files as one model? I have "combine objects" and "combine collisions" selected however the yft's still import as separate objects:

import them one after another.
combine models = on
combine collisions = off.
slice to parts = on.

it is preferable to import model_hi.yft first.

Thank you for response. I tried doing as you suggested and it still shows two separate models. Is there another setting I am missing?

before you proceed, open Settings, General, Compatibility. Make sure LODs is set to something like 5 and all options below it are toggled ("Collisions", "use Dust"... etc.). Restart ZModeler. You should have buttons "L0", "L1", "L2" on "Structure" panel above hierarchy.

import model_hi.yft file with "slice to parts" option toggled on.
import model.yft file with "slice to parts" and "combine with existing model" turned on.
