It looks like ZModeler can't save license key on a hard drive. May be ZModeler folder is located on a desktop or in "My documents" folder? it will not work this way. May be ZModeler is not being run as Administrator?

When license key is installed, you get a "codelib.dynamic" file in "Shared" folder of ZModeler. This file is re-created each time you run ZModeler. Some anti-viruses block this kind of activity as suspicious.

In most of cases "Verification: passed today" is a correct scenario of license verification. ZModeler needs to save license into codelib.dynamic file so it can start with pre-installed license next time. So, close ZModeler and ensure codelib file(s) are not read-only or write-protected:
right-click on ZModeler folder, pick "properties", toggle off "read-only", press OK, specify "to all files and folders inside", press OK again.

add Zmodeler folder into exclude list of your antivirus, restart ZModeler as Administrator and take a look whether it works fine or not (whether it imports or not and whether it already has license key in License window [good] or downloads it when you open License window [bad]).
