what is your zmodeler version? have you changed date on your computer recently? if you did, only online validation will work. you get a fresh validation in account by pressing "Validate" button. Copy validation key and "Shift" it into ZModeler's "License Information" window.

cyan color is something like 20% influence only. it should be bright red. I assume you paint with Rigging\Influence\Paint tool, correct?

thumbnail image is saved in all files exported by ZModeler. In case of GTA: .yft, .ydr, .ydd files get this image saved in. you can try File\Import -> pick your file and check whether "preview" area shows something in it. Thumbnail image is for ZModeler only, it's no way related to the gam...

may be thumbnail image is saved? it's a jpeg image which is usually 8-24kb in size. Also, the file is created based on scene content and materials setup, it could be made of a different layout and packed in a slightly different way producing different file size on scenes with no changes at all.

if you right-click on skeleton and disable "Setup mode", you can move/rotate bones (with no harm, as you can "Reset transform" to revert back) - give it a try in ZModeler and check whether the problematic gun is actually affected by the bone you need.

these are object name's ID used by game engine for scripting parts behavior. If your model uses its own part names, they will have random IDs and can't be scripted by the game (e.g. you can't name my_door_lf, as the game will try to script "door_lf" for driver entering vehicle animation). ...

You can put license onto platform that has no license assigned. If your license has expired but is still shown in account as active/running, you should delete your platform and add it again.
