Unfortunately, I can't help on this particular subject as this does not relate to ZModeler or an exported file.

Re: .ytf losing collisions after changing name on zmodeler

In some cases, an exported model can have a corrupt collision on export. Even if you import/export model with no changes, it could still happen. There is no any strict rule or solution. The first thing to check is to export model with no changes and test in game (firetruck model). You can move some ...

this does not seem to be an issue with the export or ZModeler. probably something have to be configured in a metadata file.

Re: Slots/Nodes

Once you import an object into ZModeler, it will be placed relative to 0,0,0 point. If you want to put it in a slot, drag&drop it in a hierarchy window onto a mounting/slot dummy node, but mind to press and hold CTRL key before you release/drop the node.

Re: restart zmodeler

reboot your computer. May be there is another "zmodeler3.exe" process running in background? ensure you have "codelib.zmx" file in "Shared" folder of ZModeler. If you don't let ZModeler download updates. it is advised to move ZModeler folder from a system drive to anoth...

Re: Validation Issue

Your platform ID has accessed license server today. in most of cases this is enough for ZModeler to get a fresh validation. I advise to reboot your computer and run ZModeler again. Once you see a license information window, your license key should be shown there (with 5 days remaining) and verificat...

Re: symbols_embossed_opac

Hello. Most likely the texture uses the format that is not supported by ZModeler. For example, it could use the single-channel "brightness" format, that is not available in DX11. It is converted to single-channel "Red only" format. You can probably configure material or texture s...

Sorry for delay.
It usually works on the second day (in a time zone of license server, so it could be just a matter of several hours actually).

may be. the non-licensed version (if something is detected) will make a zero mass vehicle on export.

Re: How to solve this situation with the dashboard

re-save texture as DDS image in some external tool like photoshop or Paintshop Pro.
Do not put this texture as embedded into your .yft file, add this texture into an associated .ytd package instead.

Re: Problem after the latest update

yes, the set of "livery" shaders have been updated to draw the overlay texture properly in ZModeler. The export mode should be set to "Overlay" while default is "Lerp". Changing this manually to "Overlay" should solve the issue. I have updated the configuratio...

Re: Exporting a vehicle, makes it go nuts in game

make sure you export both model.yft and model_hi.yft files as their hierarchy (objects set) have to be identical. If you deleted a part that had a collision, then this part/collision might have been referred from a configuration file. I advise to reimport model back into zmodeler and take a look - m...

Re: Zmodeler3 "checking online"

Hello. Get the most recent ZModeler version 3.3.0.1231, it will able to download license key and verify it online. A manual license validation should be performed in advance. You can try to get the fresh validation key for your ZModeler version and copy&shift it, but I can't be sure ZModeler wil...

Re: Nothing happens when importing .WFT file

It was years ago when the .wft plugin was build and times passed since then. Most likely this file was created by some other tool and ZModeler can't understand the file data layout there.
If I am not mistaken, ZModeler will not load .wft file that was created (from openFormats) by OpenIV too.

Re: Zmodeler3 "checking online"

Add an exception for "zmodeler3.exe" application in windows defender or your antivirus/firewall tool. ZModeler accesses the www.zmodeler3.com domain on 443 port (standard https port for web page browsing). If still no luck, clear account data in ZModeler and install license key manually vi...

Re: Issue with materials going black

Ensure geometry object has tangents and they are computed. Toggle "Tangents" in Properties -> Mesh->Vertices->Format. Then use Surface\Normals\Calculate to updates normals and tangents. If you use .FBX or .DAE as intermediate format between ZModeler and Blender, then Tangents should be pre...
