Re: Life time license
Yes but would periodically re-validating licences not give you that power still? It's the same concept. Is it not? Just applied to life-time licences. "Lime-limited validation is a small cap on protection shield, I would not rely on ban of new validations for cheaters." Don't understand th...

Re: Life time license
There is no way to still control and ban suspicious platform IDs with lifetime licenses? A way to keep cracked versions at bay? I am sure pirates find a way to still crack your time-limited validations and time-limited validations. Because pirates are unstoppable. What about combining life-time lice...

Life time license
Any reason why there is no life time license for your software? You want $150? $200 even? You've got them. Because this is a software I will always want to use and I actually want to support you. It is worth every penny besides being fun. And you are very helpful and punctual on your forum regarding...

How to separate a shared vertex
I'm trying to uv-map a body kit and I go on vertex mode to try to separate all lod parts of the rear bumper from the rest but there's a shared vertex that prevents me from separating the whole thing. I tried using the 'break' tool but nothing happens. I assume there's a better way to do it? or I'm u...

Re: Issue with platform ID
So I don't need my old license key anymore? I see the trial one is still active and there is one not yet assigned that is available that wasn't there before, after I had revoked the original one. I may go ahead and assign that one or should I wait for the trial to expire?

Re: Issue with platform ID
So what should I have done instead to not activate a trial license? Just so I know not to do it again. I did specify the password already. No, I checked several times, the ID is correct. and I am trying to verify the trial license by pressing shift after copying the validation key from my account se...

Re: Issue with platform ID
I removed the old platform ID and added the new one but now it is using a trial license and I don't know how to use my paid license key. I have the option for automatic online validation but it says it fails to check the status

Re: Issue with platform ID
Do I have to uninstall/remove zmodeler from my device before changing the platform ID? I ask because the software might think it was installed in two devices and get me banned from using it. I was gonna uninstall zmodeler but it's not actually installed on my device. seems it's a portable version. a...

Issue with platform ID
I am not sure why my platform ID changed, the only changes that happened with my laptop within the past days were some windows updates and BIOS update. Is that it? If so, what can I do to keep using zmodeler3 on my laptop? I wasn't aware the platform ID could change, now I cannot use zmodeler becaus...

Part not showing up when UV Mapping
So I have this bodykit that I UV mapped and it looks fine except for one thing, this part in purple should be red since it belongs to the left side and when I select related polygons and enter UV mapping, it's not even there. you see the red area in the UV mapper? the part should show up there like ...

Help with 'break' tool
I have several decals that I uv mapped and combined into one single object with the 'attach' tool and I've used the 'break' tool before and it worked for the other set of decals but now something weird is happening with the last set. I need to break away the decal for the left number from the decal ...

Issue with an object when UV mapping
So I managed to figure out how to do the uv mapping in zmodeler3 as shown in that video with zmodeler1 and I successfully mapped kit01 to 03 with minor issues (some objects randomly being detached from others that I had to put where they should be) and moved on to kit00 which has the most amount of ...

Re: How to hide mountpoints and help with UV Mapping
I'm trying to do the uv mapping as shown in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TISqiA1nzrs using 'keep old mapping' and 'from viewpoint xy' as you suggested and this is what I get it looks like the one in the video and I am trying to break apart every part (top, right, left, front and rear) ...

Re: How to hide mountpoints and help with UV Mapping
Yes I am following several tutorials on converting cars for need for speed but they are done on zmodeler1 and it's hard to guess what I have to do in zmodeler3, that's why I ask you so much, I'm sorry

Re: How to hide mountpoints and help with UV Mapping
So I watched this video and I tried doing what it says https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6l3G55ufr2c but there's something I must be doing wrong although I'm not sure what it is. I need to uv map all parts of the model that use the carskin1 material with the unwrapping tool so I can freely position ea...

Re: How to hide mountpoints and help with UV Mapping
But now I have an issue, I am unable to see the entirety of the debug file on the model when using the 3D view for some reason and it looks complete when using 'perspective' view although I am able to rotate the model like in 3D view, do you know why?

Re: How to hide mountpoints and help with UV Mapping
you can hide objects in hierarchy view by toggling off squares next to object name. Oh yes, I knew this, just thought it didn't apply to mountpoints to see texture on a model and to uv-map it, you need to assign this texture onto material first. the material that associated object uses. If you have...

How to hide mountpoints and help with UV Mapping
So since the license plate and decals are taken care of, now I moved on into UV mapping for the car's vinyls and I need to hide the mountpoints of the model to start with it. I need all those cubes gone for now, how do I do that? And this is the debug file I need to UV map for the vinyls. I added it...

Re: Help with 3D view
I was able to slice the bigger decal. the decals I showed you I created matched two bodykits. Had to create new ones for the third bodykit as its geometry is different. And I finally solved the license place dilemma. Somebody tipped me off about something wrong with the configuration file for compil...

Just noticed it only happens when open windows are grouped/combined, if I set the taskbar to 'never combine/group', it doesn't get locked by zmodeler

Re: Help with 3D view
Ok, so I created the decals, but the polygons look all messy. Is there a way to 'fix' the polygons? I also need to get rid of the ones the bigger decal has (zoomed in on front view) and slice it vertically because on the left side of it goes a number, the other number goes on the right side of the d...

Re: Add multiple materials to a single object
Is there any kind of incompatibility with windows 10? I'm on a 64 bits machine, by the way. When I ran the wizard, it said I should try compatibility with windows 8 which I did but I still experience the same issue.
