Re: animation help
what do you mean? what sort of animation and how should it be related to the boot? the boot is opened/closed with build-in game mechanics by rotating the boot node axes within axes rotation limits. you can't change the way the boot is opened/closed in game other than changing object axes position/di...

get an update, the issue was addressed yesterday. upon loading .z3d file, ZModeler should not longer crash when you open "Tracks editor".

Re: Problem with paint
what is the texture used on "SPECMAP" slot of your vehicle_paint* shader? The texture should not be black, usually it is a white "vehicle_smallspec_map" texture.

Re: Forum and Zmod Help
move ZModeler from system drive to another drive if possible. Before running ZModeler ensure there are no other "zmodeler3.exe" processes running in background. Ensure you have codelib.zmx file located in ZModeler's Shared folder. Right-click on ZModeler folder, pick Properties, toggle off...

Re: My refund is not coming
Hello. Your refund was sent on April 15th. It should be on your balance to the moment, make sure to check it. Screenshot 2024-04-25 041152.png I don't know the exact payment method you have used, but if this was a debit/credit card, funds are usually credited in 2-3 days after refund. So, this does ...

Hello.
Your license key is not installed in ZModeler. Make sure to run ZModeler as Administrator. Also, move ZModeler folder from a system drive to another drive if possible.

Re: The last update caused ZM3 to not recognize Chinese localization files
There was an update in localization service module, but I don't think it could be the cause.
May you send me your localization file so I check whether it works for me or not?

Re: the object in the animation does not follow its axis
Your animation has an option enabled "relative to bind". In most of cases, this option should be toggled off. Unbind an object from animation, toggle this option off and bind object again.

Re: Purchase days
Hello. 1. License key time and validation key time is rounded to days, it has no "hours" on it. Given that this can chop some hours of license validity, ZModeler allows license to run half a day after expiration (in particular if license server confirms the license key still has some time ...

Re: Not getting an email
Hello.
There is no e-mail confirmation or approval. You just specify the e-mail address for password recovery. This e-mail is the one you specify on "Lost password" page and it is the one the recovery password is sent to if e-mail matches the one set on account.

Re: UV Mapping Question
If you have a different geometry object in a _hi.yft file, then this geometry object have to be UV-mapped too. There is no way to copy UV mapping from one object to another unless objects topology is identical (literally, the same object but different UV mapping). If this is your case (same geometry...

Re: Inaccuracy in movements
Hello. When movements become stepping or irregular, you have reached the precision of vertices coordinate data. This is a sort of a technical limitation. Also, this should have no impact on a regular-size object, as the fraction part is very small and should be invisible on an object. The fraction i...

make a forum post and specify his platform ID and account name he remembers. If he has a paid license, it's worth to reach me out via e-mail and specify e-mail address on purchase, so I can track it down.

Re: ZModeler 3 will cause the active window to not be topped
this still does not reproduce to me (I have windows 10). May be in windows 11 a bit different window-messaging events are queued when user interacts between application windows. I advise to double-click on ZModeler's caption bar (top row) every time you run it, so ZModeler switches from "maximi...

Re: ZModeler 3 will cause the active window to not be topped
does something change if you:
A. change ZModeler's window size from maximized to smaller window right after starting it up
B. open Help\About window (then switch to another application)
C. open Materials Browser window (then switch to another application)

the issue is likely to be with the mod itself or mod setup (configuration, metadata). there were no changes (in a year or more) that could give the effect you are describing.

Re: Zmodeler File Lost
what do you mean by "zmodeler file" ? The shortcut to run ZModeler or the .z3d scene you have saved? In general, there are no options for the .z3d file to disappear. However, when you save the .z3d file, the previous .z3d file is renamed to .bak, then the new file is created. So, there is ...
