A quick update on my last post, I've still to find any models in the game which have 128 or more components. The highest I could find was a model with 127 components - this was the BOMBUSHKA, from mpsmuggler dlc (Smuggler's Run).

The objects marked "back siren", shouldn't be over 20. (You can only have siren1, siren2, siren3... up to siren20 - anything over 20 won't work). Try changing the siren170, 180, 80 and 70 to siren11, 12, 13 and 14 as a starting point. As a side note, I'd also avoid having duplicate names (...

To answer your first question, vehicles with 128 components or less seem to work, even with the "max bones" limit defined as higher than 128. As for your second question, I don't think I've explicitly noticed any vanilla models which have over 128 components but I'll have a look around to ...

I tried removing all the COLs, just keeping the chassis [COL] and respective collisions for the wheels as you said, and the same problem persists - colliding with anything instantly crashes the game. Hmm that is strange, not sure why on earth that would happen. Just to check, which version and build of ZModeler are you currently using? And would you mind sending me the .Z3D file to check on my end? (and the corresponding carcols file)

Hello zmrb26, Shamefully disabling the extralights using turnOffBones isn’t possible (directly speaking, that is). You can however put the extralights under an extra (eg. extra_1, extra_2 etc).
