Any idea why this is happening with my first vehicle mod

Postby maybach123 » Mon Mar 13, 2017 11:06 am

Having issues with texture of my first vehicle mod. Does anyone know why the body is invisible. Also the game crashes when i try to spawn the car.
Thanks!

1. misconfigured materials
2. excessive model detalization. try setting higher Base file in user-defined options window on topmost hierarchy object (dummy node). The exported .yft model file should not exceed 12-13Mb. if it does, the model will not spawn in game.
3. other possible reason for the model to crash is missing (deleted) some object that initial model had in hierarchy. quite common when you remove unnecessary extra_* or misc_* parts, while the game expect them to be available on your model.

alright checked everything and its not over 13mb. Also nothing is missing. What do you mean by reconfigured materials?

Do you have embedded textures there? have you tried to leave textures as non-embedded and put them into .ytd instead? (preferred choice).

misconfigured materials = material was not prepared by configuration script (using button with "gears" in top-right corner). Some materials require textures set to be assigned (missing textures are generally Ok for the game, no crash, but on some materials they are a must).

what is the size of your .yft file? What is the "Base" user-defined option's value have you specified?

If you get the chance could you take a look at them? I am still unsure about some of the things as I am still new to zmodeler. the ytd is 6.7 megabytes and the ytf is 3.5 megabytes
Here is the ytd
