Texture path no longer the same after importing

Post by stollmeister »

Hey,
I have a problem and that is since a few months, zmod3 does not take over the different single paths anymore.

This is what the Textures Browser looks like after I exported:

This is what the Textures Browser looks like after I re-imported the exported textures:

hopefully someone can help me, thank you in advance

try to spot the problem on just one texture that looses the path. So, you export the model that uses some material with some specific texture (that has a path assigned), then you re-import this model and texture's path is wrong? Check the exported .mat and .tobj files - what is inside .mat file (regarding this texture and it's path), where the .tobj file was exported (in what folder ZModeler has placed this file?) and what is inside the .tobj file (it refers to .dds texture image - what is the path and where the actual .dds image is)?

Note, if you work on several files at a time, you are likely to get the same texture being located in different folders (and in some cases ZModeler is allowed to search for textures when it's not found at its location that was specified explicitly).
