Bought a year license got Your license denies this action

Post by billdask »

Hello,
I bought a year license and I am able only to save and open z3d files.
When I import or export I got "Your license denies this action"
Under license key I have:
Permits animation support
Permits skeletal rigging
Permits network storage and exchange.
Please help.

I see your platform has logged in today, so it is expected to perform validation properly. The only possible reason left for this problem is a failure to save your license key on your PC.

1. Make sure to put ZModeler into a folder like C:\Program Files (x86)\ZModeler3, or D:\Soft\ZModeler3 or like this;
2. Right-click on ZModeler folder, pick Properties and untick "Read only"; press Ok -> apply to all files and folders -> ok.
3. unpack CodeLib.zmx file (from original zmodeler3.zip package) into "Shared" folder if it's not there.
4. add Zmodeler folder into exclude list of your antivirus (especially, if #3 is the case).
5. always start ZM as Administrator.

Once you start ZM, let it download and validate license (open License Information page). Then close ZM once you see "verification: passed today" or "verification: revaliate in 61 days". At this point you should have "CodeLib.dynamic" file located in "Shared" folder. Its availability means correct license installation.

On next startup ZM should be able to open/import/export/save.
