Possible license transfer to other account?

Post by Zola »

Hi
I accidentaly bought license for account for old PC platform which I'm not using anymore (PC is broken) but I haven't activated it yet. Can anyone of you guys "transfer" that license to other account?
Thanks in advance

I've enabled you an option to transfer license. You can send it onto any other account manually.

Revoke license and activate it for your new platform ID. Revocation is : click on (?) icon, tick [v] option and press "Revoke". Then you can delete your old platform ID.

well i managed to revoke the previous license, but for some reason, i only have 5 days left on my trial for the new platform ID, my actually license days left hasnt moved over. not sure how to do this, its such a mission to complete

does the trial period/license had to finish before the 2 year license activates?

License revocation does not put it on hold. it's solely for detaching license from platform (to be able to activate it on another platform).

You can not activate new license onto platform ID when you have another license activated for this ID. You can revoke license to activate a different license for this ID too, it is allowed.

It is also recommended to remove CodeLib.zmx files (both of them) from ZModeler3\Shared folder prior to installing new license key. Start ZModeler and let it update (it will download empty license file), restart and activate ZModeler with new license key. then restart again.

unpack zmodeler files into a folder C:\Program Files (x86)\ZModeler3, start with administrative privileges.
Set antialiasing to 4 if problem persist.

i followed your instructions and got all that sorted out, seems to be running fine now, but i still only have 4 days left of the trial and not the 30 odd days left of the original 2 year license, i have revoked the license from the previous platform ID and nothing seems to be transferring over to this new platform.

just noticed, ive been using zmodeler in 1 form or another for 9 years now.

I don't see your license to be activated on your new platform at the moment. send me a PM with screenshot of your current platform's License Information window.

Also, do you see a license key there straight after restarting ZModeler, or it appers there after "checking online" message?
