I have to post here some info: when you have extracted gt4.vol, and you're able to get the cars, i take one file from car\pack1 or from car\pack2 and i change the extension to *.cdo. I import the file into ZModeler 1.07b with Gran Turismo 2 Filter, and it says 'out of memory'. Can be this a clue? Or not?

i haven't got any cars yet.. can someone attach here zipped car mesh file (without textures, just a mesh file)?

Check out these files :P (A file form \cars\ directory, perhaps is like a packed file that contains textures and mesh in one file, and another file from \crs\ folder, probably are cars too, but this file is bigger, and perhaps each of the \crs\ folder files contain all the cars of each of the brands, like toyota or mitsubishi...). Take a Look to it :lol:

Here is what I assume to be 7 cars.
Unless they are zipped up in some strange format?

This files is compressed(with very good algorithm) and very hard to crack. Maybe you can find decompressor.

Max_xt said exactly what i could say. so if you have mesh files extracted from cd/dvd, you can zip some of them and attach here. if you doubt, attach one of a kind. Car mesh file is expected to be in range 50kb - 500kb. if the file is larger, then it's an archive/pack so i'll not bother with it..
