Adding Something to a Model and Properly Export as One?

Postby ammounity » Tue Sep 05, 2017 9:49 pm

Hello, I have closely followed many of the tutorials given and have had great success with them. Although, one issue I am coming across is I want to add a Badge to a shirt that originally did not contain a badge. I want to attach this new object onto the original shirt and then export it as one complete model properly textured as one texture file as well. I am aware of weighting but I believe my problem lies with the UV Wrapping. Not familiar with creating my own wrap. I have always used the game's already mapped textures. Would love some insight on how to attach an object to a clothing piece and combine the textures. I have seen it be done with a few mods and would love to know how to do it. Note: Both objects I am working on have their own individual wrapped textures already.

it will be identical to this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iNH2EN9B0ds
the only difference, is you do not replace the .mesh object with the new one, but use Modify\Attach tool to attach badge to jacket.
