Subdivide/Turbosmooth & quadify

Postby TheFriedturkey » Sat May 06, 2017 3:50 am

Hi!
I dont know if there is already a this feature like this in zmodeler already, but if not would there anyway of this coming to zmodeler because I do a lot of 3D modelling of peds for GTA V and I want to improve the quality of my models.
I know how to do this in 3DS Max but the problem is I edit the models a lot in zmodeler and its really difficult to edit a high poly mesh xD
Heres a image of what i mean:

(on the left is the original mesh and on the right is the turbo smoothed mesh)
Also if there is a way to do this I want to be able to do this to some of my existing meshes but i lost the original project file and they have been triangulated already :)

to be honest, these are quite comprehensive tasks. subdivide tool looks like the simplest of listed but has its own tricks too, especially when messing with triangle-based mesh instead of quad-based.

Yeah because if you subdivide a triangulated mesh its messes up and creates it into hexagons, the most important one would be the subdividing because i can always just quadify the mesh in 3DS max.
But no worries if its to difficult to add :)
