Keep old UV mapping, Am i doing something wrong?

I am trying to use the old UV mapping for the metrotrain, but it ends up looking very messy as you can see in the picture.
Am I doing anything wrong? or is my Zmodeler bugged out, I've done this with multiple vehicles and have the same issue..

toggle off "continuous mesh surface". This option finds points on model that have the same position and merges them in UV mapper. In most of cases, points are duplicated on original mesh to have different mapping on adjacent polygons.
