Re: Rear window is bulletproof. How to change this?
you vehicle in game does not look like it matches this chassis collision... or vice verse - collision does not seem to match in shape to the vehicle.
ignoring the above statement, yes, these polygons should be "physics void". at least the couple of them in a area where "rear windscreen" collision should act.
if you don't set them to "void", the game will interact with these polygons and quite likely will never reach windscreen collision polygons during bullet hit-testing. at least it looks like this is exactly what happens when bullet tracing is performed from outside of the vehicle.

Okay, so. I have set those to physics void, i have set the windscreen_rear to vehicles, carglassweak.

you can move vertices of collision object "here and there" so it covers over the actual geometry as close as possible. AND you need collision object to have polygons covering the areas with doors and windows as precise as possible. Every area of chassis that you set with "physics void" (doors and windows areas) should be somewhat fully covered with other objects collisions (doors collisions, window collisions). If you make chassis COL inaccurate in these terms, you might get collision artifacts in game like player/objects falling through or into the vehicle (e.g. player not being able to stand properly on a vehicle).

(some) chassis collision polygons >>> void.
(same area) windscreen collision polygons >>> glass weak.
and test in game.

Would it maybe be easier if I sent you the files and you could look at it with your own eyes? Because I'm quite bad at explaining and you are smarter, better at these stuff so you might figure something out haha

Should I change the group to vehicles here and glass weak? Or should it be on glass, because this is normal COL not polygon

It's still bulletproof even though I've done all that, I'm going to send the car files, the files that I have now so you can (if you want, have time) look around at what I've done and/or if you find mistakes or if you can make the car not bulletproof. I'd really appreciate it. I'm putting it on a wetransfer link, its just to hit download and you'll have it all...

no, the properties of windscreen collision OBJECT should be all clear/empty. group and type selection both set to "Default". So does the properties for chassis collision OBJECT. you don't assign any options there.
You assign options and set surface type on POLY level only, onto individual polygons.

So I only change in poly? And I don't change gta options/thing on the COL in normal mode?
Re: Rear window is bulletproof. How to change this?
yes.
objects mode -> no options, default type.
polygons mode -> set correct options.
chassis object:
chassis void polygons:
windscreen object:

Re: Rear window is bulletproof. How to change this?
So I set all the windows COLs that were bulletproof to default and everything empty and all the windows polys to vehicle, glassweak and I also changed chassis to physics the correct ones like in the pictures above. Its still bulletproof. The car is still bulletproof, rear windscreen and the rear windows, the small rear windows... Could you when you have time take a look at it? I sent you the files from before I changed everything on the windows COLs to default.

Re: Rear window is bulletproof. How to change this?
And also how do I fix when the glass shatters but the bullet doesnt go through? Like its bulletproof but the glass shatters
Re: Rear window is bulletproof. How to change this?
it still looks like there are some other collision volume(s) that impact with bullet when you shot. remove chassis_lowlod collision (or something like that).
also, move vertices of chassis collision into the vehicle's body (deeply into interior), so they are not hit when you shot windows... just for test purpose to find out whether chassis COL causes problems or not.

How do I move verticles of chassis collision into the vehicle body?

Re: Rear window is bulletproof. How to change this?
And what chassis collision, when I look in the scene/hierarchy i only see chassis_dummy, chassis COL, chassis
Re: Rear window is bulletproof. How to change this?
chassis COL object. switch to vertices level (exactly as you did with poly level), and move vertices one by one.

How do I make the BAK file YFT file? Like I wanna use the BAK file in zmodeler so how do I convert the BAK file to yft?

And also is there a way of not having to do the things I do to one file manually to the other, because it takes so long doing it twice. I tried to import both at the same time and then I exported, the file became 2x as big so I deleted and now I need the BAK file to become YFT file
