are we talking about head component or entire model?

mind, you need to keep import/export procedure with respect to guide. If you need to make some fixes, it worth to use saved .z3d file rather then re-import your model. If you re-import your model, mind to load .yft file first, rename it to .global, then import .ydd file. If you miss some step in attempt to make final fixes on a model, it is likely to mess your entire model this way.

I talking about head model. looks like only distorting right side.
and I think export and import is fine, maybe it caused by skel mesh or something?

There is a model import problem since the last update. I import the Yft file and name it .global, but .mesh doesn't show up. Please watch the video.

you should toggle "Slice to parts" option off, when working with peds (both yft and ydd).

sorry but I can barely see what the problem is exactly in. may be two closeup shots "was/now"?

Also, could it be related to facial animation? Is this a ped model or a multiplayer model? I can remind there are some tweaking files for multiplayer face/head adjustment (a set of vertices displacement that game can mix in some variations to make scull wider, nose bigger, and like this). If you can mess around with these settings, does it make an effect on a model distortion.

P.S. I don't play the game, and don't know how the multiplayer actually looks like. I don't know whether there is an option to adjust multiplayer model face look as specified above, I just tell Ive seen files with this specific data and likely the specified above is their intended usage.
