License plate on accessory

Postby Pijany Walcarz » Fri Jul 07, 2017 11:55 am

Hello!
I've got a small problem. I've made a simple rear bumper for Man TGX Euro6 with node for ingame's license plate. The problem is it's not showing on an accessory. Node name is "R_lp" but nothing is showing up for me.

Here's what I got:

Is there any special option to specify that the game recognizes this as a license plate holder?

I guess you should scan *.sii files on original truck/trailer models for "R_lp" node name to see whether some specific configuration/declaration for this node is needed in *.sii file(s).

Ehhh... searched everything in truck mod and still no clue. Looks like I will get it to work when exporting this part by a Blender. Because locators in Blender have attributes or something like this to specify what "node" is responsible for.

have you tried to move this locator away so it could be seen from all sides? may be it is facing the wrong direction?

Just soved it by making a custom plate model.
It works good when bumper is attached to fender, not lights.
