Peterbilt 579 and Kenworth T680 uv mapping issues

Postby kwhopper86 » Sat Mar 25, 2017 3:06 am

Every since the update to zmodeler 3 that gave the support of 4 uv layers I've had a issue of the uv mapping getting messed up on export. There are no errors when exporting but when in game some paint jobs are messed up. Paint jobs that use the alternate uv in def file are fine and look good but the ones that use the uv mapping that has images mirrored or the template is just one side of the truck and then the imaged is mirrored on the other side are all mixed up. This didnt happen before the the update last year that added the 4 uv layer support. What can i do in zmodeler to insure that this wont happen and that both types of skins will be useable. Thanks in advance.

try setting different "Source UV" in DETAIL2 texture slot. try "Manual UV#3" for example...

also, take a look at UV layout for paintjob using "Edit UV" tool - examine UV#2, UV#3 and UV#4 to find out which of the matches the paintjob. also, examine zmodeler-generated .MAT file, try to edit it to match an original MAT file (just to find out whether problem relates to model export or to material export).
