Hi, I would like to make a proper masked lights, but I am running out of ideas, its simply all wrong.
Lightmask texture is original for DAF, game version 1.6.1, ZM 3.06

This is how mapping looks in the game:
1. Only parking lights

2. Headlights

3. Highbeam
Image

4. Left turn indicator, both sides flashes (for right turn indicator, nothing is flashing)

5. All lights turned on

This is how it looks in ZM

Front lights (square 1 - texture, square 2)

it looks like it uses different lightmask texture... may be it takes wrong texture for lightmask? Also, ensure your lightmask object has "Max UV Channels" set to 2 in properties.

I increased UV channels from 1 to 2 for all lightmask objects (in object properties), now its finally working. Thanks, I didnt even know this option exists.

I´m begginer in ZM, so I need help. I try to make lights, but I can´t make it good.

object properties -> mesh ->vertices format -> UV channels : 2. Currently, you have only 1.
then you can use "Edit UV" with "Edit uv channel #2".

im trying to map my turn signals so they operate like normal turn signals but their always on, even when the lights are off, can someone tell me what im doing wrong?

Edit: found the problem it was also mapped to a glass material i removed and now its fixed

Hallo, brauch mal hilfe...
Habe einen Leuchtkasten für nen Scania, ist ja nichts neues, möchte es aber so haben, dass er nicht dauerhaft leuchtet sondern erst wenn man das Licht einschaltet.
Das habe ich ja soweit auch schonmal hinbekommen.

Wie in dem Bild beschrieben kann ich zwischen weiss und gelb wählen, egal welche Farbe auf der Lightmask ist...???

As described in the picture I choose between white and yellow, no matter what color on the Lightmask is ... ?

Was mich schon irgendwie wundert.
Und zum anderen möchte ich hallt das es rot leuchtet, aber egal wo ich es auf der UV-Map positioniere, weiss, gelb und der rest ist ohne funktion.
Jetzt ist meine Frage, was mach ich falsch, hat jemand eine Idee?

And for another, I would like echoes that it lights up red , but no matter where I position it on the UV map , white, yellow, and the rest is without function.
Now my question is, what am I doing wrong , does anyone have an idea?

Make sure you have proper shader adaptation assigned on material. e.g. dif.lum is not a proper choice. make sure your uv-mapping is correct, as otherwise the game will not light up "lightmask" material for you.

Always refer to original models and their materials / uv mapping layout if you get in trouble with your own modded content.

making only red light, what position it is because a trailer mapped here, however turns red and the brake signal as well.I wanted it to be just red?
