Z-Mod Features for Path

Post by Harald-RS »

Hello Oleg,
I would like to have a function feature for the Z-Mod 3 or higher.

Would it not be possible that in the Z3D file or in a database the mod folder path to the part is stored.
Greetings

Get an update.

If the hierarchy root dummy has a proper "Origin" user-defined value and you export into a folder that ends exactly as the "Origin" says, then the exporter will ignore mismatch on "Mod folder" and the actual export folder. It will consider everything to be set up properly still. Thus, you can even don't bother setting the Mod folder before you export at all (if you export into correct folder layout with respect to "Origin").

For example,

An export, having a "chs_6x4" with Origin set to "/vehicle/truck/man_tgx_euro6" and Mod folder set to "D:\Mods\ETS2" will give a correct export into a file:
D:\Mods\ATS\vehicle\truck\man_tgx_euro6\chs_6x4.pmd
(Note the "ATS" in folder name even the Mod Folder is adjusted to "ETS2").
