you should use "Surface->Mapping->Edit UV" tool to create UV mapping (keep original, just restore it in UV Mapper window). Then switch any viewport to UV Mapper. Then use "Render UV" tool to render mapping layout into texture file.
In "Edit UV" options:
keep original = on
combine fragments = on
continuous mesh surface = off
In "Edit UV" options:
keep original = on
combine fragments = on
continuous mesh surface = off
