Problem in the mats

Post by Thomas1760 »

Since the last update it’s a problem I want to pass a window in yellow and in the mat every time I change the emissive to pass in diffuse#2 in advanced shader color that does the manipulation on all mat while I only want on the one I have selected .
Does anyone have a solution? Please

Sorry for my English I am French and I use a translator

may you post a series of screenshots on what you do and what you get?

If I understand you right, you change "Advanced shader settings" on one material, then you get the same changes on some other materials automatically? Does this happen in ZModeler without saving/exporting, or you export/save and reload (import or open) the scene to get this happen?

Also, if this happens in ZModeler only (and happens immediately after you change settings of material), does the problem reproduce if you undo and/or save your scene and restart ZModeler? I mean, does it happen all the time, even after you've just started ZModeler, or happens from time to time or in some specific conditions only?

Here are some photos
The first photo nothing is modified it is the original mat then on the 2 it is after I made my modification and on the 3 I open another mat and we see that the modification was also carried out while I did not request it

This product even without exporting , there I just import my truck makes the modification and nothing more.

And the problem happens all the time

hmm... I do not see anything wrong on your screenshots.

1. emissive is black with 0 level on "glass" material
2. diffuse#2 is yellow with 100 level on "glass" material
3. diffuse#2 is white (which is OK) with 0 level (which is correct to "ignore" the color) on "default06" material.

what exactly is wrong do you think?

Before when I modify the diffuse #2 it didn’t spank me on all the mats that’s why I find it strange that since the last update this manipulation spanned all the mats

But thank you for your answer now I know it’s no big deal thanks Oleg

changing diffuse #2 color or it's level on one material should not make changes on another material.

may you make three screenshots again with:
- material #1 (diffuse#2 settings)
- material #2 (where you change diffuse#2 color/level)
- material #1 again (diffuse #2 settings) - are there any changes?

How good is this?

no there has been no change

The thing I don’t understand is when I pass a material in diffuse#2 instead of emissive why it puts all the material in diffuse#2 before it didn’t do that

that's the correct scenario.

not getting what you mean here.
