Can ZM3 have face number calculator function?

Postby Yoha » Tue Feb 21, 2017 3:17 pm

Hi Oleg,

As we know, 3dsmax has a fuction that show the total face number in parent scene.
It shows a log in top left corrner when we press 7.

This is quite useful when we edit models.
Especially when we make game mod, not just gta5 mod, also other games.
We can decide whether to reduce the face with this small face number log.

And we also know, that zm3 can check face number of each model in properties pannel by click isolate button.
It's good.
But when we edit a model with hundreds separate parts, then this operation becomes very difficulty.
It is very easy to forget some parts.

So if have this function like in 3dsmax, it can save lots of time to check number of face.

..."check face number of each model in properties panel by click isolate"...

actually, properties window shows properties for scene selection, and togging Isolate mode eliminates a need to select an object to see its properties. So, all you need is just to select several objects, or even all of them (Shit+A) to see properties for all selected objects at once. In particular, Mesh->Vertices and Mesh->Polygons will show amount of vertices/polygons in entire scene (selection).
