The test model found that there is a strange shadow, when the player is close to the model and moves, the shadow will rotate with the player
weird model shadows

Re: weird model shadows
If I"m not mistaken, this relates to a "Skeletal" option used on export. If it was off, turn it On and export again. Or vice versa.
Re: weird model shadows
Skeleton off, on, delete doesn't work

Re: weird model shadows
Where does the object model get the skeleton from besides the character model with the skeleton?
Re: weird model shadows
is this .yft file or .ydr file? is this a rigged accessory? I remind shadows issue was related to static ".ydr" objects when these were exported with incorrect option "Skeletal". I haven't seen this issue related to rigged .yft objects yet.
Re: weird model shadows
This is a ydr file, using the game's original model's skeleton
I have been looking for a solution for several days on the Internet, but I have not been able to get a solution. I may have to give up this project.
There is also a problem that after binding the skeleton according to the original model, the model cannot be placed on the ground but is in a suspended state

Re: weird model shadows
does this model contain any collision data? if it does, how does collision look like after import (original) and after export (and reimport) ? do these match?
Re: weird model shadows
Is the collision data COL? The position of the model after export is inconsistent with the original model, try to copy the weights to the new model but it doesn't work
Re: weird model shadows
Yes, I mean the .COL object. You can see it by toggling "COL" button on "Structure" panel. Does this COL object changes in size after export/re-import?
Or another test: import and export with no changes the original game's model - does it have now the same issue with position on the ground?

Re: weird model shadows
There is no change in the import and export of the .col object. The position of the original model has changed after export without changing the model. It is suspended in the air just like the previous picture.
