Clear Plastic

Post by keithd203 »

I setup a plastic cover material that shows fine in Zmod:

But when I exit and import the model again the Opacity moves back to 255 and the plastic is no longer clear.

Here are the mat settings:

Any recommendations would be appreciated>

I suppose you are exporting to ETS2/ATS? It has no "opacity" on material, this can only be controlled by texture's alpha channel.

Awesome, thanx Oleg, understood. But unfortunately since I am learning I don't know what needs to be adjusted to add opacity on the alpha channel. I testing a few thoughts but none of them worked. Could I get a screen shot of what the material settings should be?

this can't be done in ZModeler. you need to edit texture itself. add alpha channel and paint alpha channel with levels of opacity (or fill it with solid color like RGB: 90,90,90.
