Hey there
Could somebody please tell me where the icon image topic is?
I remember reading a topic like this last year not to long ago, you can change the file icon image for Zmodeler?
Thanks.

Re: Changing the Zmodeler icon images?
regedit,
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ZModeler2.scene\DefaultIcon
change default value to location of desired Icon. E.g. "C:\Windows\system32\shell32.dll,10" or
"C:\Windows\web\MySuperIcons\MyZModelerSuperIcon.ico"

Re: Changing the Zmodeler icon images?
Where do I find this?
Do I have to edit some sort of registry?
I went into the web folder and I cannot find any icons, other than bullet and an exclamation mark.C:\Windows\web\MySuperIcons\MyZModelerSuperIcon.ico

Re: Changing the Zmodeler icon images?
yup, or take the "round" version of it from here:

The .ICO is a 16x16 or 32x32 version of file thumbnail for windows xp. If I'm not mistaken, Vista and Windows 7 prefer .PNG version of files for thumbnails.
You can copy or just place this (PNG) file whereever you like. "MySuperIcons" is just an example where you can place them. "C:\Windows\web" folder is a native folder for walpapers and other "user interface" suff of your system, that is why I suggested to put the file there.
Yes, you need regedit and to edit location of default icon for .z3d files if you want to change them.

Re: Changing the Zmodeler icon images?
I only have Windows XP Home edition.
Where do I download this program, I did a search in yahoo. I found a Microsoft link.
It does say, you can obviously damage the system if not used correctly.

Re: Changing the Zmodeler icon images?
then you surely should not use and stay with original ZModeler icons.
Re: Changing the Zmodeler icon images?
I'm not a programmer or an expert in using or understanding Windows XP registry or any indepth detail about this OS, so I would be relying on somebody to help me.
I was thinking just a moment ago that it may not be worth the trouble.
