Re: Vehicle editing

"share violation" is the case when zmodeler tries to export/save into a file that is opened/viewer by another application. export into a different file or a different location;

Re: Vehicle editing

it was shipped as executable with installer and uninstaller build in. Later the NullSoft installer (used in zmodeler installation package) was found to be vulnerable and my hosting service provide has removed the file. I no longer keep zmodeler 1 series for download on my website. you can google for...

0xf36cfb59 is vehicle_track2; 0x84fb9684 is vehicle_track_emissive. both (and vehicle_detail also) are included in one of recent updates.

Re: GTA V character (Player, NPC) modding

it's in branch GTA5->ped->ped_emissive. and yes, its on recent updates only. @MAESTRE3D, it does look like a texture problem. resave your textures with mip-maps generated. try it temporary with original textures (these will not fit of cause, but you will able to find out whether textures are the cau...

Re: Vehicle editing

txd is a package of textures; in order to load a model and change it, all textures should be extracted from .txd file first (e.g. into a set of PNG images). model editing involves import and export. Import is not available in free version of zmodeler2; export is available in free version. so, it's g...

Re: Report Import/Export bugs here

you can manually re-sharpen the mesh with modify\knife tool in problematic areas; knife the chain of edges to make sharp shading on them;

...and what shaders from bikers update are in a question? if some shader definition is missing, specify the game model file location that fails to load in zm.

Re: GTA V character (Player, NPC) modding

there is no emissive "color" in shader configuration, it mutiplies the color of texture itself. If your texture is blue, then per-vertex A is probably set too high (try values of 2, 3.. may be 5, not more). concerning the streamed peds, they are usually equipped with skeleton in head_000 m...

Re: GTA V character (Player, NPC) modding

For those who curious on ped_emissive shader, it uses per-vertex blue channel as emissive/HDR multiplication factor. With zero blue (default on most of ped components), ped_emissive will produce low color emission with absolutely no post-effect (even on full-strength of emissive value in ZModeler or...

@IsmaDanialEugene, convert material to "ped" using a conversion script button in the top-right corner of materials browser.

@Z@gor, this is definitively a wind-effect. read the very first post of this topic.

Re: GTA V character (Player, NPC) modding

I see mesh moves according to skeleton changes, solid mesh is not. probably solid mesh is assigned to non-shader material, as all shader materials support skeleton rigging natively.

Re: ZModeler 3.1.1 release notes

Full changes log is not available, as each plugin has its own update versions and changes log on each build. It's strongly recommended to run the very latest version/build of software.

Re: Why Does my Car Look like this ingame???

for me it looks like you can merge all (most of) parts inside extra_b using Modify\Attach. Separation to parts is needed when they behave differently in game (e.g. animated by some scripts as separate parts). making a lot of parts during modelling is Ok too (e.g. creating a "cup holder", &...

Re: GTA V character (Player, NPC) modding

To make a small ped (on the instance of Yoda model attached above), 1. make sure you modify .skel in "Setup mode". 2. rescale skeleton and meshes so they match fine 3. ensure red-marked objects (dummies, bones, meshes) have axes at 0,0,0 point; 4. select (with Alt+click on [v] icon) bones ...

Re: GTA V character (Player, NPC) modding

there is no good and proper way to put the model on the ground at the moment. there is a "displacement" walkaround for this with its drawbacks. It was described earlier in this topic. in general, you should load original model (the one your replace) into zmodeler and create a box or plane ...

Re: GTA V character (Player, NPC) modding

General shader's don't work on PEDs they crash the game, this happened in GTA IV as well. Is it possible to add custom defined options to the gta_ped shader? you can only add original parameters as user-defined options to suppress zmodeler-generated values. a list of original parameters could be fo...

import skeleton for this model (it could be in "head_000" branch; relink skeleton into a ".global" branch (create a dummy named .global and drag&drop .skel object there); bind your .mesh to .skel; then export again.
