may be the issue with the scene you are trying to merge data into?
have you tried the opposite - Open the merging file as is and try to merge entire your scene into?

любой шейдер с Bump-map требует наличие Tangents в формате вершинок (Properties -> Mesh -> Vertices -> Format -> Tangents). После включения тангент надо их обновить инструментом Surface\Normals\Calculate.

check the location of local axes on objects, as these are important. In some cases, a child axes should match the parent axes too.
